This place has been a blast. Been here 2 times and both were out of this world. The crew is incredibly friendly. The bar and drinks are great. The Kalua Pig is my favorite pork in the city. The Char Sui and Mochiko wings are drenched in an amazing sweet sauce. Great sticky rice (get the guava chili water), the consistency of the potato salad was beautiful, and the chips are perfectly sliced. After our 2 trips we have had most of the menu, there is WAY too much to say without writing short of an essay, GO!
Just a local girl who misses home! We were visiting the area and stopped here because I miss Portuguese sausage so much🥲 Rice was on point 🤣 iykyk! The kalua pig was tender, I make it at home and like a little more Hawaiian salt & liquid smoke but it was delicious! The Mac salad was great, and so was the katsu! Perfect crunch on the outside but the chicken wasn’t dried out at all. The sauce had a nice kick to it. The teriyaki beef was flavorful, soft and just what I needed! Lava flow was perfect as well. Service was quick for the amount of food we ordered, food was hot and fresh when we got it & the manager was great!
Absolutely love this place! Been going here since they were at Oakley Kitchen! Everything on the menu is delicious! I try to get something new every time I come but I make sure I get the long rice soup. My fiancé and I sit at the same table every time. We love it. Love the owners, managers, cooks & staff. Very friendly!
WOW! We were so fortunate another place was closed, allowing us to discover this gem. The staff are so excited to serve. The menu is QR code and order/pay on phone. Patio is pet friendly. The food is spectacular! *Hawaiian meat is traditionally salty, so expect that. The papaya salad was perfect (not as spicy Thai restaurants serve)...and our favorite of the sides. Desserts were all simple and didn't overpower the wonderful flavors & feeling left from the meal. All of the meat was phenomenal. Truly a fun experience, best of luck to the owners!!
A little slice of Hawaii at home here in Cincinnati! Such a great, fun environment, and the food is absolutely fantastic! If you're interested in Hawaiian cuisine, and a little bit of Polynesian heritage, this is the place to go!
